Your own documentation and even WordPress respository direct me to this barren page when I click to “Custom Favicon Plugin” FAQ and also this same barren page for Support. What’s the deal???
Curiously enough, this comment section says “No one has commented yet”. What a surprise?
Hi Tommy. This site was supposed to be re-designed with proper content and launched a while back, but haven’t had the chance to go about it.
Also, no one has commented here because no one found a bug yet. If you do find a bug, please fell free to report it.
Frustrated as well. Installed and the plugin is just not working at all for me.
That is a free plugin that you have decided to use. So If you do have the time to write a comment, It would be helpful for the community and developers like me, if you could specify what issue you are facing instead of writing a general comment. That way if there is a issue/error, we can look into it and fix it.
I uploaded the plugin, it recognized the favicon art inside the wordpress dashboard, but it is not showing up on my site.
The site is here http://staging.tabarron.com/
Hello. Thanks for sharing. I just looked through the code and did see a favicon.
The path to favicon is http://staging.tabarron.com/images/favicon.ico
OK, feeling really silly here but why is it not appearing as the favicon for the site then?
Ahh, there is just popped up! Thanks for the help!
It sometimes happens mostly due to browser cache. Glad to help. If you get time would appreciate your feedback on the plugin at http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/custom-favicon.
Please move the links in your reply since it is a staging site? Thanks!
Sure. Have removed the link.
On the setting page of Custom Favicon there are four different images. Could someone please explain to me what they are and their respective size? Thanks!!
Hello Wang. The labels are next to each upload field. Its for uploading favicon hence the smaller the better for first 2 fields (General Favicon for frontend & backend) and for remaining 2 are for Apple devices (Frontend & Backend) hence they need to be larger.
Hi, I’ve got a problem with uploading images for my apple touch icon. I am in in the Custom Favicon Settings but the “Upload an image”-Buttons don’t work. What should i do?
Hi. Thanks for pointing it out. There was some issue with JS file after yesterday’s changed. I have just fixed it and released and update. Once you update you would be able to upload images for the custom favicon. Let me know if you run across any other issue.
Are you kidding me installing spam onto my computer you SOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I installed it but it does not tell me how I put my favicon on. No documitation or instruction
The plugin pretty basic. Did you visit http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-favicon/installation/. Once you visit the plugin settings page, using upload buttons you can upload your favicon files and click save. Other than that there is nothing much to the plugin.
I’ve put my .ico image into the plugin where it says “Favicon for website” and clicked save changes but nothing has changed apart from the fact that there is a URL and the image below the “Favicon for website” writing…
